We have been keeping busy this summer and can't believe its almost over. My sweet Makenna deleted the pictures I have of swim lessons this summer. She did awesome and loved it and on the last day jumped off the diving board! All she keeps talking about is going back so she can jump off the diving board again. So now she is on to level 2.
She also deleted my pictures of our neighborhood 24 of July party, but hopefully I can get some of those up from the neighbors. As always we had a blast with bike parade, yummy food, great fireworks and good friends!
This past weekend we made it up to Bear Lake with my siblings. It was so much fun! Funny story though- the kids can only handle about an hour in the car and then the whining kicks in and since it takes 2 hours to get there the last hour was spent whining and crying and saying how this was such a dumb idea and they didn't want to go to the lake etc. etc. On the way home Makenna and Chase were saying how that was the BEST DAY EVER!
This little guy loved digging in the sand but he did not like walking on it at all, he would just hold his feet up if we tried to put him down to walk, even in the water he wouldn't walk on it. So luckily we had a little tube for him and he just floated around with his feet up and loved it! He did start walking on it towards the end.
I think Makenna spent most of her time out swimming with Jared- she is a fish!
We had one sandy boy! Our bathtub was disgusting that night:)
So much FUN!
