Halloween

The Friday before Halloween was our ward Trunk or Treat. This year for Halloween we were all Star Wars characters. It was so fun. Makenna was Ray, Chase a Storm trooper, Caleb was Darth Vader, Steve was Yoda and I was Leah.

 

 So fun seeing our friends all dressed up too! Caleb with Stratton and Chase with Beckett.

 On the Saturday the YMCA had a Halloween festival and I took Makenna with her friend Olivia and Caleb. The kids could make masks, play Halloween memory, make spider webs, face paint and play ring toss around the witch hats.

 Halloween was on a Wednesday so Caleb got to wear his costume to school.

 And that evening it was super cold so I convinced the kids that we should Trick or Treat at the mall and we saw Champ!

Fall Break

Over Fall Break the Orton's came to visit. It was a complete surprise for the kids. They came Thursday evening and left Sunday morning. Friday morning we hung out, the girls did some leaf painting and then once we were ready we took them to see where the kids' school is and walked around the pond.

 

 That afternoon the girls were obsessed with playing with the dominoes and were making designs all weekend. We also went to Bozeman Hot Springs.

 Saturday we all went and hiked the "M". It was gorgeous weather the whole weekend and I was so glad we could do all of our plans.

 In the afternoon we went to the hay maze. The kids loved the corn barrels, hay ride, and train ride. However, we were completely lost in the maze and had to ask for directions on how to get out! We were in there for a good hour before we made it out!

 Sunday morning the boys decided they all needed to wear their Halloween costumes and had fun running around the house. Every night we stayed up way too late, watching shows and being together. We were so sad when they left but so glad they came!

 Silly Caleb wanted a picture of him taken and how can you say no to that grin?!
