Girls Weekend

This past weekend I was able to meet up with some of my dearest friends at a condo in Eden, Utah. These girls have been my friends forever. It's not very often that you find friendships like ours! It was such a great weekend with no kids. We did a lot of chatting, eating, learned how to play pickleball, hike, games, movies, hot tub and more chatting!

L-R: Jen, April, Aja, Leeanne, Tamri, Me, Misha
 I sure love these ladies!
As I was unpacking I found this cute note at the bottom of my bag! I love it! I'm going to hold on to this note and pull it out when Makenna is yelling at me telling me she doesn't like me. Deep down I know she does love me!!!

Mother's Day

Caleb's preschool had a Mother's Day Tea and it was so fun! He had been talking about it for weeks he was so excited. I've never gotten so many hugs and kisses at one time. We had some treats and the kids sang some songs. It really was the cutest.

I am so grateful to be these kids' mother! They teach me so much every day and I realize how much I need to work on to be better! It's the hardest thing being a mother some times but its worth it and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Its Been Busy

We have been so busy the past month with extra activities, sports and school field trips! Makenna was able to go to the Stake Activity Day with a couple of her friends from church. I thought this was the cutest picture and am so glad for good friends for Makenna and glad they could go together!
L-R: Annie, Arleigh, Makenna, Albany, Charlee
For activity days the girls painted flower pots to give to their moms for Mother's Day. They all are so creative.
Chase has been busy this month with T Ball and soccer. He is loving both and is really pretty good! Although its wearing his cheering crew out and I'm ready for them to be done;)

Makenna has also been busy this spring doing swim. She is our fish and has been doing amazing in her swim class!

Caleb and I were able to go to part of Chases' field trip to the dinosaur park. Caleb was so excited to be with the big kids and Chase loved having us there. I'm always so grateful that I'm able to go to most of the kids school activities!

I was able to have my spring piano recital and was so proud of all my students! Everyone was able to make it and they each did great on their songs. It's been a little crazy some weeks having 12 students this year but we've made it work and I'm so glad I can share/teach others one of my talents!
L-R: Blake, Arleigh, Amy, McKoy, Kohen, Abby, Kena, Liv, Ella, Makenna, Austin, Ashlinn
One of my students, Amy is moving and I have enjoyed having her each week. She will be missed!
The other day I was teaching piano and Caleb pulled up a chair and started washing the dishes! He was so proud and said, "Mom I just wanted to help you out!" Loved his little act of kindness.
