Halloween

This year for Halloween we had Steve and Caleb as pirates, Chase as creeper from Minecraft, Makenna a witch (for the ward party) and I was an old lady. I was supposed to be Wendy from Peter Pan to tie in with the pirates but my costume didn't fit. Makenna came up last minute with the idea to be an old lady and I think it was the best costuem ever! It was so comfy and it was fun wearing those big glasses! The Primary was in charge of organizing the party and it was a smashing success! Chili, cackle contest, prizes for best costume and of course trunk or treat with a prize for best trunk as well! It was such a fun night and Chase was also able to bring Graycen as well.

Makenna could wear a costume to school and she decided she wanted to be the old lady.

I took Caleb to the YMCA's Halloween Carnival where he rocked it at all the games and Makenna and Caleb did the pumpkin carving this year!

Halloween night it was pretty chilly so Makenna then decided to be a monkey. Sure do love these hooligans!

More of Seattle

On Friday, our last day we went on an underground tour of Seattle. Caleb wanted his picture in front of the crapper and I really liked the glass tiles they had on the cieling that was the sidewalk above.

We went back to Pike's Place to get these massive donuts from the bakery, they were delicious!

Then made our way to the Seattle Zoo. Caleb felt like a trainer as the penguins would follow his leaf and we got completly lost trying to find our way out of the zoo at the correct exit!

Saturday and Sunday we made our way back home. It was such a great trip but we're glad we dont live in a big city!

Seattle Cont.

After the Space Needle we went over to the Chihuly Garden and Glass. I think this was a favorite of me and Makenna's. Everything was made out of glass and it was so amazing! They had exhibits insiade and outside of all of these different creations made out of glass.

We then went over to the Museum of Pop Culture. It had a whole bunch of different random things inside. Makenna found something from Harry POtter and the boys enjoyed this vidoe game section. Wasn't our favorite thing of the day but they did have a cool playground outside.

After getting dinner we were able to go back to the Space Needle in the evening time. We think it was even better the second time with all the lights!
