First Day of School

First day of school. We weren't sure if in school would be happening or if we'd be online but are so grateful that the kids are able to go to school in person every day. They have some extra rules-masks all day, classes have to stay together in certain areas on the play ground and Makenna isn't able to rotate classes during the day(the teachers rotate instead of the kids). I'm sure their are other rules I don;t know about but we are so grateful that we're going to school! This year Makenna is in 6th, Chase 3rd (he also has the same teacher as second grade because his teacher moved up in the grades too) and Caleb in 1st. Olivia came over the day before school and Makenna and Olivia did their nails so they'd be all ready for school the next day.

Misha Comes to Visit

Misha came to visit for a weekend! WE played at Story Mill Park, did some new art painting, played at the pond (while we were there our friends the CHristiansen's were there too!) and Misha and I strolled downtown Bozeman one evening.

Grandma/Grandpa Come to Visit

Grandma/Grandpa and Andrea came to visit. I've been wanting to do the Lava Lake hike with Steve but have been nervous leaving the kids when we don't have cell reception so Steve and I took advantage of having my parents here and made it to Lava Lake. It was so beautiful. We kept hearing people talking about a bear on the trail but we never saw him. While my parents were here I had to work all day/every day that they were here so it worked out for me so that the kids weren't home alone for so long. I know that they went to the pond during the days and hiked the M. IN the evenings we went out to eat and had a spa night one night. So glad they could come visit!
