Miss Makenna

Makenna hasn't really had a desire to learn how to ride her bike that she got for Christmas. It hasn't been the greatest of weather but on days when we have been outside she hasn't been interested. Well,a couple of weeks ago when it was almost springlike weather around here we were walking around our circle and she saw one of her friends riding her bike. When we got home she said, "Mom I want to ride my bike like Cadence" Ten minutes later she was doing it. She has gotten really good. She just needs to figure out how to turn around in the neighbors driveway. She loves it! I'm so proud of her. My baby is growing up.

She also has been really into cutting paper lately, good thing we have a recycle bin.

She also has said some of the funniest things lately. She is really stuck on when I ask her to do something she says " I can't Mom because my arms are broken," or "Can you carry me? My legs are broken." On Sunday while getting ready for church she told me she couldn't sing in Primary because her teeth were broken!

I had hung up some pictures and a wreath in Steve and I's bedroom and she kept saying how beautiful the wreath was, "It's so beautiful Mom."

The other day she said, "Mom you're so sweet". Such a silly girl!

6 months!

Chase turned 6 months old! I can't believe it. He weighed 15 lbs 14 oz and is 27''. He is so sweet and I just love him to pieces. Here are some things that I'm loving right now.

• His little giggle. He is such a happy boy and is so easy to make smile and laugh. He is quite ticklish and just loves to be played with.



• In the mornings, if Makenna allows, he likes to snuggle up with me before the day starts. Love it!



• He has mastered rolling and gets frustrated when the walls get in the way.



• He loves to eat and enjoys sitting in his highchair and being with the rest of us at meal times. He eats whatever I've given him but really everything goes in his mouth... socks, toys, his toes, he reaches for something and it goes right to his mouth.



• I love when Makenna is nice to him (which is rare) and they both start laughing together.
