Nursery woes

So Makenna has been a little pill lately. She has been so upset when I leave, even if its just to take out the garbage. She throws a fit if she's left with anyone but me, even with Steve. But, she topped it of last Sunday. She has been going to nursery for several months now( we have great nursery leaders, since she's not suppose to be going till next month) and she has been fine. Well last Sunday she started crying and screaming not wanting me to go but I left anyways. She didn't last long because she cried so hard she threw up on one of the nursery leaders! Throw up is disgusting, throw up that is not from your own child is even more disgusting. I felt horrible. This phase better end quickly!

Easter and the Baby Animals

I know I'm a little slow but better late than never. These are pictures from Easter. Makenna thought it was so fun to open eggs that had candy in them. I had eggs all around the front room and we would have to open each egg and put the candy in the basket before she would pick up another one. She was really cute!

We also went and saw the baby animals at the Heritage Center. We just went on the "animal only" days which was so nice since their weren't very many people. Makenna wasn't in to touching the animals. I had to force her little hand to just barely touch the animals, she just would have rather watched, and I'm sure she would have watched them all day if she could.

It's so fun to watch her learn. She loves to make animal noises and is getting pretty good at knowing what noise the animals say. Her favorite right now is to "meow" like the cats.

Vacation

Why do I live where I do? I need to still be on vacation!

Steve has family from Minnesota that go to Phoenix for the winter so we decided to go and visit. It was so much fun. On the way down we went to several tourist spots and then for 4 days we were in Phoenix with family. All we did was play outside, go swimming, play cards, relax and play outside some more. It was one of our best vacations and we loved spending time with Auntie Rose and Janet.
