Baby Animals

On Saturday I took the kids up to Baby Animal Days. They love it and every year they get more and more brave. Andrea, Jared and Lauren came with us which made it even more fun. The kids rode the train 3 times, rode the horses and held the baby chicks several times- it was perfect!
Chase loved feeding the cow one strand of hay at a time.
The bunnies were a big hit too. The kids didn't want to hold them but they loved touching them.

This girl, I was so impressed. her bravery came out, she just went up to the pen of chicks and picked one up and sat down to hold it- I couldn't believe it!

Along with feeding the cow, Chase was enthralled with throwing grass to the chickens.
Riding the horses was no big deal this year. They both got right on and Makenna was even ok that we watched her this time. (Last year she didn't like us watching and waving to her:) I don't think Chases' helmet was going to do him any good, it was way too big. He had the most serious face while on the horse- the picture doesn't do his face justice. I was laughing the whole time.

Easter Eggs

Yesterday during afternoon general conference we dyed our easter eggs. We didn't have any casualties this year and the kids loved it! They didn't really color on the eggs they just wanted to stick them in the dye so I feel bad that due to my lack of motivation lately I didn't have that many blown out. But they still had fun and I love our table centerpiece that we can admire for the next few weeks:)

Treehouse Museum!

It wouldn't be a school break if we didn't meet up with some of our favorite friends at one of our favorite places- Misha and Kira at the Treehouse Museum and Aja and her kids came with us too! Every day of spring break was rainy except this day so after the museum we headed to the park for lunch and the rest of the afternoon. The kids loved playing together and I loved chatting with friends too!
