Blue and Gold

 

Steve serves in the cub scouts and tonight was the Blue and Gold Banquet, it was a western theme and he took Makenna and Chase with him. It looks like they had a good time!

11 months

My baby turned 11 months this week! He has changed so much this month and has been so fun. He has been so loud, he has discovered his voice and I think likes to hear himself. It's really bad when we go into the bathroom at church. He has learned it's extra loud in their and just yells thinking he is so funny (which it is:) One of his top front teeth poked through last week, so now we're up to 3!

No more baby food for him, he just gags when I put it in his mouth. He just loves eating except for bananas, those also make him gag. His favorite game is the dropping game. He likes to be holding something while he's eating(cup, spoon) and then towards the end of the meal he starts dropping it and then laughs when Makenna or Chase give it back to him. It's nice that one of the other kids will pick up the item but frustrating too because they fight over who gets to pick it up! But Caleb's face is too cute for me to put an end to this game:)

 

 He loves music and starts bouncing when he hears some going.

 This month he has also mastered pulling himself up to stand! It took me completely by surprise when one morning last week I went to get him out of his crib and he's just standing there! He's now pulling himself up wherever he can. We might just skip actual crawling, he is still army crawling, to walking.

 I'm afraid to say it in case I jinx myself but he has also been consistently sleeping through the night for probably a week!!!!

Sure do love this little boy!

Easter Egg Dying

We dyed our Easter Eggs last Sunday afternoon. It seems like no matter how many eggs I have the activity is never long enough!

 The last few eggs the kids were dumping them into all of the colors. Every time Chase would pull out his egg he would open his mouth wide, suck in a lot of air and awww in amazement at what color it had turned.:)

  

 They ended up with pretty brown fingers by the end of the activity!

Funny

I'm not sure what was going on with these pictures. I had gone to the gym and came home to a stuffed animal party, looks like they were having a good time.

The other day Makenna was pretending to be an old lady!

Random

Makenna and Chase play so well together (most of the time) and these were just some random pictures I took. I love it when they dress up!

I teach piano lessons and the other day I caught them playing pretend piano lesson! Makenna was the student and Chase was the teacher. It made me laugh to listen to what they were saying. I didn't think they paid much attention during my lessons, but like always they surprise me and listen a lot more than I think!

Yesterday Makenna and I went on a date to Boondocks and played the arcade games. We had a fun time together and I taught her how to play Pac Man (it's about only game I'm good at!) we won quite a few tickets playing the games and she picked that pink squishy dinosaur as a prize. So glad we could spend time together.

10 Months

My Caleb turned 10 months last week! Time goes so fast. This boy is so fun and such a mama's boy. He is never too far from my side and gets so excited when I come into the same room as him and even more excited when he knows I'm going to pick him up:) He is still army crawling around and this week has been wanting to stand more rather than sit. He still isn't pulling himself up onto things yet, he's tried but no success. But when we are standing with him he takes a few steps.

 He still loves the bath and gets so excited as we are filling up the tub. If I were to describe him in one word it would be wiggly! Every waking moment he is moving around. Gone are the days of snuggles! He still gets up once at night and that is when I snuggle him for a minute, when he is half asleep after eating! And even then it is only for a minute because he wants to stretch out in his bed. He is so sweet though when I am going to lay him down for nap or bedtime he lays his head on my shoulder while I get his blanket ready. He has been giving sweet, big, wet kisses and has been wrapping his arms around my neck like he is giving me a hug!

Can I just keep him little??

 Chase had to get in on the picture taking as well and he is such a goof!

A Visit

Two weeks ago we got together with Steve's family because Uncle Donovan and Aunt Priscilla were in town. It was so good seeing them and spending time together.

 My favorite of the evening was watching Chase and Clark play Fuzzball- most of the time Chase would just stick his hand down and grab the ball and roll it towards the goal, luckily Clark didn't care:) They were having a great time!
