School Starts

Another school year is under way. Makenna started 4th grade with Mrs. Feddes. Chase started 1st grade with Mrs. Monlux. We were ready for the school year start. It's going to be a great year!

 With the older two gone at school it's back to Caleb and I during the day. I love the special time we get to spend with each other!

 One day we had lunch with our friends. Their are so many boys for Caleb to play with and we love it!

 Caleb started his 2nd year of preschool with Miss Shelly again.

Natural Bridge

Our last weekend before school started we went to Natural Bridge. It was so beautiful. We hiked along both sides of the river, had a picnic lunch and on our way home we stopped in Livingston for dinner. It was a beautiful day!

Chase turns 7!

How is Chase already 7!? For his birthday we went to Silverwoods Theme Park in Idaho for the weekend. It was such a fast but fun getaway. Steve was able to leave work early on Friday and we came home Sunday afternoon, Chase's birthday was Saturday. Chase got some diving rings for his birthday and the kids 

were anxious to try them out. So they swam Friday night and Sunday morning before heading home and the rings were a hit!

 

 Saturday was spent all day at the theme park. We got their right when it opened. Caleb loved all the kiddie rides. Steve had taken Makenna and Chase on a roller coaster and Chase was so excited until they got on the ride. Then he cried the whole ride and was done with the big rides and stuck with Caleb the rest of the day! In the afternoon we went to the water park side. It was cloudy that day so it was kinda chilly but we stuck it out. That evening we went back over to the rides and Steve stuck with the boys while I went on the big rides with Makenna! It was so much fun!

 The park closed at 10 and we still hadn't had dinner so a really late night stop to Dominoes was in order. I don't think we've ever stayed up that late!

 The Monday we were back Chase got to pick what was for dinner and we had brownies so he could blow out his candles! Happy Birthday Chase! We love you so much!

Random

I have a bunch of random pictures to put together as a post. Makenna had some silly pig tails going on and wanted a picture of.

 Another pond visit and it sure was hot! Graycen came along and they all had a great time. Some college kids had set up a giant water slide that ended in the pond and anyone could go down it. Chase loved it but Makenna landed on some rocks at the end and got a big bruise on her leg so she was done after the first time.

 We made it out another night to watch the race cars and had a great time because it was kids night. The kids got to go down on the race track and walk around to all the drivers. They got a bunch of candy and loved it!

 Being silly...

 For our last summer activity days (and my last one before getting released) we took the girls to the city pool and Dairy Queen after. I have loved spending the past two years with these girls! Chase and Caleb were lucky enough to get to come along.

Since we knew we weren't going to make it camping this summer we let the kids camp out in the front room one night. They loved it and it's a good thing Steve is a good tent maker!

Birthday

Another year older! We had been so busy with activities lately that I was kinda lazy planning something for my birthday. My friend Josie and I ended up taking the kids bowling in the afternoon and then to the park for cupcakes. Pretty low key but it was perfect!

Butte Water Park

They built a water park in Butte so a bunch of us went to go check it out! It was so great going with friends and everyone had such a great time. They had water slides, lazy river, kiddie section, and water obstacle course. Everyone was busy all afternoon!

Ousel Falls

The week after mom and dad left some neighborhood friends were going to Ousel Falls so we decided to go again. It was just as fun and just as beautiful as the week before!
