Climbing and Swim

We love going on the Galligator Trail and the kids love to ride their bikes on it and at the end is a huge rock you can climb on. We went a couple of weeks ago and it was a hit as always!

I also was brave and took the kids swimming by myself. Honestly, I think this is a first. It helps that Makenna is such a good swimmer and you put Chase in a life jacket and he does his thing, which leaves Caleb and I. We ventured to the Bogert Pool and had a great afternoon until it started thundering/lightning and the pool closed.
All 3 of the kids were in swim for June and part of July. Makenna is a fish and could stay at swim lessons all day. Chase was so much braver this time and made some huge improvements. He's keeping his face in the water longer and getting better at his arm strokes. This was Caleb's first time and he was so excited-the first time. The second day he refused to get in, I couldn't even get him to put on his swim suit(even after bribing him!) The third time he got in and had a moment of tears but did his whole lesson. Afterwards we made a trip to the dollar store for him. The next time Steve was able to come and watch and the kids loved that! For the last lesson Caleb made sure that prizes were coming before he got in the water. He did it so I had to take him again to the dollar store. Needless to say he was glad when swim lessons were over!
I'm so proud of them all and their accomplishment!
