November Catch Up

The end of November always goes so quickly at our house since we always have so much fun and I wanted to post about it before I post Christmas things. All in one week is Steve and I's anniversary, Makenna's birthday and Thanksgiving.

For our anniversary this year Steve took me to this amazing restaurant, Corbins. It was an anniversary only type place (we've never spent that much money for a meal for just the two of us) it was amazing. I had this crab, lobster stuff on rice - it had a cool name, and Steve had prime rib. For dessert we had cake that had warm hot fudge in the middle with ice cream, it was sooo good. I came home so full my stomach was hurting, but it was worth it. Steve also was so sweet and when we got to the restaurant there was a bouquet of flowers waiting for me at our table! It was a great day.

Next we had Makenna's birthday. I can't believe she's 3!! I can't belive how fast time goes. Just look at this cute little face (She's 1 in this picture) She's goes from this cute face to...

this cute face!

She truly is such a joy, a handful a lot of the time, but adorable none the less. At the age of 3 she loves to dress up, paint her fingernails, play with her Jessie doll, barbies, Rapunzel, sing songs, read stories and boss us all around. She acts like she is a brave soul but really she won't do anything without me- she's a timid one! She is a horrible eater, I'm not even going to post what her diet is like due to embarrasment from all my dietitian friends, it is getting better though.

She loves being with her daddy. He takes her to football and basketball games and she just loves it. She does love Chase but doesn't act like it very much due to her always screaming in his face, scaring him, laying on him, but I do catch her saying she loves him on occasion. My favorite is when I'm tucking her in for bed and she gives me a big kiss and tells me that she loves me!

She had a great birthday this year filled with many presents, grandmas, bowling and cake and ice cream. It was funny we had her presents sitting on the counter and when she got up and came into the kitchen she said, " Look mom Santa came!"

Love you Makenna!

Thanksgiving was up at Steve's moms this year. While it wasn't the best due to Makenna not feeling well, we still had a good day. We ate yummy food and had good company. I made these fun turkeys to share at dinner.

Some of us girls also made these cute fabric wreaths and have decided we need to do a craft from now on.
