9 Months and a haircut!

Our little Caleb turned 9 months last week and to celebrate he got his first haircut! The front of his hair was all that really needed to be cut- I couldn't stand it in his eyes anymore.

Ok, well Chase needed a haircut as well so here are my two hairy boys before Steph came...

And here they are after! So much better. Caleb didn't really like getting his haircut. He was whimpering and pulling sad faces so it's good is was quick. He is just so cute!

Caleb is changing all the time. He army crawls and the past week he has started to put his knees up under him a little. Still no teeth but you can see that his front 2 bottom teeth are trying to come up. His sleeping at night has been terrible but napping is great. What is so different about sleeping at night than during the day?? He loves to go through bags and buckets to see what is inside and dump it all out. He is so fun and we sure love him!

Museum of Natural Curiosity

Last week for MLK I took the kids to The Museum of Natural Curiosity. We went with our good friends Misha, Aja,and LeeAnne. The kids had a blast. They have a ton of different things for the kids to do. Their is a rainforest section which is a big jungle gym that the kids can climb around in. Kids love it, moms hate it:)
Then their is a water section that they can do.

This was a wind activity that the kids could stand in and feel the wind. Makenna loved this for some reason.
Their was a motion room where the kids could learn how things move.
Chase could have cared less about the motion room he just needed his snack!
Thanks to Mish for always being my extra hands:)!

Their was a town section. The kids could go around and visit different rooms-bank, dance room, musical room, train room, school room. This was them in the theater/acting room.

 This was a school/art room.
Their was also stuff outside. A fun playground with a zip-line swing and a maze for older kids. After four hours we were exhausted (the moms more than the kids!) and called it a day and went to Aja's to relax and eat. It was such a fun day and I'm glad I could go with such good friends!

Basketball

Steve took the kids to a Weber Girls basketball game a few Saturdays ago and they loved it. They came home with 3 balls and a t-shirt! They were practicing their basketball skills the rest of the evening.

Primary!

This guy went to primary on Sunday! I teared up a bit before we left for church. He is just growing up and it makes me sad. He was a little nervous to go into his class so I went in with him for a bit and then he was fine. I was able to leave after a few minutes and he was great the rest of the time. His cute nursery leader made all the nursery graduates their own scripture bag. Chase loves it and feels so grown up! In fact on Monday we saw one of the nursery teachers when we took Makenna to school and on the way home Chase said, "Mom I'm too big to go to nursery. I go to primary and I go potty in the potty!" :)

Friend Christmas Party

A few weeks ago was the Christmas party with some of my dearest friends, and I love it when we can get together. We had it at the church which was perfect. The adults could chat and the kids had plenty of room to run around.

I love that our kids play so well together and they pick up right where they left off last time.

Sweet Cass and Roger were kind enough to pull all the little kids around on a blanket and they loved it!

Then all the kids were doing the army crawl, or something across the gym floor!

Pace Christmas Party

We got together with my family the day after Christmas. We had a good time bowling, eating, opening presents and playing games. I learned what the phrase "Chew the Fat" means- thanks Dad, I still giggle when I think of it:)

Chase enjoying his chocolate cream pie and Makenna enjoying her peppermint ice cream!

Christmas 2014

A few days before Christmas the kids and I made these wood Christmas trees. They had a good time. I feel bad I usually try and do more Christmas crafts/activities but I failed in that department this year and this was the only craft we did. It just seemed like Christmas came so fast this year, I wasn't ready!

Christmas couldn't have come fast enough for Makenna and Chase. We were all spoiled rotten. The kids got new bikes this year and as fate would have it, it actually snowed on Christmas. I thought they might be able to ride them since it has only snowed once clear back in November but they will have to wait.

We had such a good Christmas and it has been so relaxing. The past 2 weeks we haven't gone hardly anywhere. We have stayed home enjoying being together, eating way too much, playing with our new toys and the kids have been playing in the snow with the neighbor kids. We did go to the movies and saw Night at the Museum which was fun. It has been great!
