Two Teeth in One Week!

Miss Makenna lost her first tooth last week! She had two wiggly teeth- one more than the other. The first wriggly one has been super wriggly for a while but she wouldn't let Steve or I touch it. Last week we had our routine dentist apts and while the dentist was looking at her teeth he pulled the first one out and she didn't even know it! He then attempted to pull out the second one but it wasn't quite ready so it started to bleed. So of course she started crying but on the way home I'm not sure if she was crying because of pain or because she hadn't wanted the dentist to pull out her tooth because she came home and told Steve that she had pulled it out in the car! Then it was the anticipation of the tooth fairy and she was so excited!

So she still had one more to go and she has been working on it all week. Last night at 4 am she runs into my room(scares the crap out of me!) and says "Mom my tooth is gone!" She was holding it and it wasn't even bleeding. She was hoping the tooth fairy would still come that night but I told her the tooth fairy had gone to bed already and would get her tonight.

 Chase wanted to be in on the picture taking tonight too. Yep, he still has all his teeth!

 These last two were just taken this week and they make me smile. Caleb is getting chunky and I love it!

Random

These are just some random things from the past week or so. Jared and Lauren came for a visit and brought their dog Duke. As you can tell he is a huge and menacing dog and my children were terrified! At first they would barely touch him but before they left Makenna had made a new friend and was carrying him around like a baby.

I took the kids to my grandparents house on Memorial Day. It was so good to see them and hang out. The kids got wet, jumped on the tramp, threw rocks in the creek and swung on the swing. I was terrible and this was the only picture I took. But I was proud because I survived our little road trip by myself.

 And I think Chase is growing. He has been eating really well lately and this was him after church yesterday. He fell asleep on the way home (which is like 3 minutes) and he stayed asleep for an hour until we woke him up for dinner. They are so cute when they are asleep!

Preschool Grad!

Makenna is a preschool grad! She learned so much this year and became so much more confident in herself. She is going to rock in kindergarten next year!  

 Her class put on a little program, took pictures and had some treats. Her teachers were Miss Dani and Miss Denise. Makenna loved Miss Dani, she was always drawing pictures for her and never liked it if Miss Dani was gone. She was a great teacher.
