Billings

To end summer we went to Billings for the weekend. We stayed in a hotel and of course swam, Steve and I made it to the temple (Makenna had just gone with the youth so we didn't take her to the temple this time). That Saturday afternoon we went and played mini golf and arcades where Makenna made bank on the tickets! One of the games she won the jackpot!

Sunday before heading home we went to Pictograph Caves. It is caves that have cave men drawings on them.

School Starts

Here we go, another school year! Makenna in 7th grade, Chase in 4th and Caleb in 2nd. This is Chase's last year in elementary and got Mrs. Feddes and Caleb has Mrs. Haverluk. It's going to be a great school year!

Zip Lining

One of our most favorite things we did this summer was zip lining up in Big Sky with the Hanni's. There were four runs that we got to do and it was the best. The kids were so brave and practically just jumped off the platform, they were so excited! We even started getting brave and doing tricks while zipping across. Although Caleb on the last run decided to try upside down but then got a rope burn on his ankle.

Billings Zoo and Temple

Caroline and I took the kids to the Billings Zoo. It was a bit rainy but not too bad. It made it so there weren't very many people at the zoo either.

While Caroline stayed with the younger kids I took the older ones to the temple to do baptisms. It was a great time!

Chase's Birthday!

Chase turns 10!!! FOr Chase's birthday I took him and Graycen with Makenna and Caleb's friends to jumptime for the afternoon and ice cream afterwards. Graycen was able to stay for dinner and celebrate Chase with us! Chase is such a good friend to everyone, so smart and a big help at home. Love you Chase!

Birthday Dinner

IT's Jen and I's birthday within days of eachother so we went out for a birthday dinner at Fiesta Mexicana and got to wear the birthday sombrero!

BIRTHDAY!

Birthday weekend we went camping at Red Cliff Campground with the Matthews. It was so much fun. We played lots of games and I brought Crumble cookie for birthday dessert.

That Saturday we went and checked out Earthquake lake. A lake that was formed due to an earthquake that caused a landslide. They have a visitors center and then a trail you can hike around and read about what happened and what people experinced.

On the way back to our campsite we stopped in WEst Yellowstone for dinner and ice cream. One of my favorite birthdays by far!
