More Summer Fun

A few other random summer adventures. We went to support our friend Mya who had art in an art gallery in town. A group of us went to go check it and and then went for ice cream afterwards. As a primary presidency we had a Pioneer activity with pancakes and made all the pancakes before hand.

We spend a lot of time at the pond in the summer and Makenna and Olivia are becoming quite the experts at turtle catching!

There is this fun place in town where you can come pick your own wildflowers. Makenna and I went and it was so much fun! So many beautiful flowers to pick from it's hard to choose, the bucket fills up so quickly with all the flowers! Definitely something we want to do again.

And summer wouldn't be complete if we didn't make it over to the Butte Water Park

West Yellowstone

We got tickets to the Playmill Theater in West Yellowstone and made a day out of it! We went to Bear World, wandered the shops, got ice cream and fudge and enjoyed the play Cinderella

Middle Cottonwood

Another beautiful hike with friends to Middle Cottonwood.

Chase Gets Glasses

Chase had been saying for several months that he was having a hard time seeing the white board at school. I thought he was just saying it because Steve had just gotten new glasses and so I thought Chase was saying it so he could be like Steve. One day towards the end of the school year Chase came to me in tears saying he couldn't see the white board. I felt so bad so I asked the teacher to move him to the front for the remaining few weeks of school and we made an appointment with the eye doctor. Come to find out he is a bit nearsighted. I felt so bad but all is well and he looks so handsome in his new glasses!

Runhaars come to Visit

The Runhaar's came to visit. We went and floated the Madison one afternoon and another went to the fun new park in town.

Went to the Bozeman Pool and the races-although we did miss half of it due to them not updating their website with the correct time, we'll have to try it again next year.

Along with some tye dye and evenings outside playing corn hole. Such a great visit!

Grotto Falls

Caroline and I took the kids on the Grotto Falls Hike. I think the highlight of that hike is always the rock hill. The boys could stay for a while climbing all over the rocks.
