Recital and YMCA

I had my spring piano recital and it turned out great! I'm so proud of all my kids and how well they performed. They did awesome and I love having them come each week. So grateful that I can share one of my talents with them and develop their own talent!

 It also was healthy kids day at the YMCA and we were able to take the boys. The firemen were their and let the kids explore the truck and Chase got to put on all the gear. Their were several activities including bouncy houses, made paper rockets, face painting and Steve and Chase played some ping pong. Such a great activity.

Caleb Turns 5!

My baby is 5!!! He has been so excited for his birthday. I'm sure he's been counting down for six months. He also thinks that now he should be able to go to kindergarten and doesn't understand why he has to wait. We started the day with cinnamon rolls and presents. He went to preschool and for lunch we went to Burger King and invited his friend Tanner.

 He was super spoiled and got a new scooter, helmet and lots of finding books.

 For dinner he wanted a cheese fondue dinner and a football shaped birthday cake.

 

 The day after we went to the park with his buddies to play and have lunch together to celebrate. He said his birthday was the best day ever! We sure love our Caleb and his goofy personality. He also can be so sweet and I'm sure going to miss my little buddy when he goes to kindergarten.

Easter

I love when Easter is later in April so that we can hopefully enjoy doing things outside and we were lucky this year to be able to enjoy the weather. Caleb had an egg hunt at school(Wed) and on Thursday another one with our church friends.

 Saturday at the elementary school they had a big one for all the kids and hot dogs after. Chase made bank with what he found.

 Easter Sunday the kids each had their own basket of goodies. It's practically impossible to get a nice picture of all the kids, they're such goof balls! Church was so good and it was nice just being together the rest of the day.

 

 We also finished reading the Book of Mormon for the first time as a family Easter weekend! After a good couple of years of just a few verses a night we finally finished!

Rodeo and Garden

We loved going to the MSU rodeo last year so now its a tradition and were so excited to go again this year. We all were in our flannel and pigtails and had a great time.

This cowboy here has my heart!

 We have been so anxious to play outside after this winter. Some days are still questionable but we're starting to get a few nice days! Caleb and I went on a bike ride one afternoon and we also were able to plant our peas and lettuce another afternoon.

 I threw this picture in as well. We went to the Museum of the Rockies one Saturday this month and the kids always want to have their picture in front of this buffalo.

A Bunch of Random

Some of our favorites came to visit for a weekend and it was such a great time! We took them to the fun zone Saturday afternoon Misha and I crafted and we just hung out. The only picture I got was right before church!

 

 Their is a new trampoline park in town and some of us ladies took our younger kids one afternoon. These boys loved it and could've stayed a lot longer!

 We colored Easter eggs the Sunday of general conference. The kids are getting better at doing a little more decorating so that the activity lasts a little longer!

 And one afternoon Caleb made himself a cushion tent and took a power nap!
