Cross Country Skiing

I was able to go with Makenna on her class field trip cross country skiing. It was so fun spending extra time with Makenna. The weather was beautiful, we both only fell a couple of times and we stayed warm and dry the whole time. The morning was spent playing some games with everyone on our skis so we could get comfortable on skis. Then later morning we split into groups and started up the mountain, had lunch in the woods and then came back down. We were both getting pretty good by the end of the day!

 

 Makenna's friend Olivia was in our group and they had so much fun being together.

Christmas Break Cont'd

The Thursday after Christmas I took the kids to Utah and we stayed till Tuesday, which was New Years Day. Our first stop was Kaysville to stay with the Ortons for a night. We went to Temple Square that evening. The lights were beautiful! 

 Friday afternoon we went and spent time at the Beynon's before we had to leave for Logan. It was so good spending time with our sweet friends!

 Friday evening I was able to see Misha, Aja, April and Tamri.

Saturday I was also able to go to the temple with Chris and we spent the rest of the day and Sunday with the Runhaars. Monday morning the kids went and played with Kira, lots of hair coloring went on!

 That afternoon we went bowling with my family. Mark and Steff came up as well. After bowling I was in charge of the New Year's Eve activities. We played some minute to win it games, decorated party hats, some balloon games, pizza and root beer floats. It was a great few days filled with lots of fun, family and friends!
