Basketball Game

Steve was home this weekend so we decided to take the kids to the Weber girls basketball game. Makenna loved it, Chase said he had fun but didn't act like he was having fun and Caleb enjoyed eating snacks and walking around the seats. It was a fun afternoon and Makenna even got a kiss from Waldo!

Snow and Beach Day

The kids have been loving playing in the snow this year. After the last big snow storm they were out with their friends and were making "thrones" for themselves! I can't believe they could push these big snow balls!

 The very same day they were making snow thrones that night they put on their swim suits and pretended they were at the beach. It was the best of both worlds that day!

Random

These are just some random, silly pictures off of my phone lately.

Caleb is my binky addict. Out of all my kids he loves the binky the most! I try and hide them when he is awake and only give it to him for nap and bedtime but he seems to be able to always find them, or I just give in and give it to him so he'll stop whining!:) This day I guess one just wasn't enough!

 He also one day was obsessed with Chase's goggles. He was taking them on and off all day. He reminds me of Christmas Story of the boy standing in front of Ralphie while he's waiting to see Santa:)

 Makenna drew this sweet picture of our family and I'm going to frame it! We all love Steve's hair.

 And these two were just lounging in bed one morning, love it.

New Years Day

For New Years Day we spent it with my family. Had lunch, exchanged presents and went bowling. Here are some pictures of our outing. My kids have some pretty nice aunts who let Caleb bowl with them. He thought he was pretty cool and he even managed a strike with Lauren!

 Miss Makenna is taking after her dad in the bowling dept because she didn't hardly need bumpers! She was rolling the ball down the middle of the lane a lot and even beat my score!

It was a fun day and we all know that Andrea is the master bowler and Steff is the queen of Solitaire Frenzy!

New Year's Eve 2015

This was the first year that I actually did something for New Year's Eve with the kids and it was so much fun. Katrina was husbandless that night as well so we had a No Dad's Party(that's what the kids were calling it.) We told the kids they could dress up fancy if they wanted and my kids took that as dress up like its Halloween. Makenna first was going to wear her Santa dress which I thought was great then decided she wanted to be a cat, because they are fancy and then ended up wearing a fancy tutu. Chase said he wanted to be a monkey and was disappointed when I said no and because I have nothing for him to be a monkey so he was in his normal clothes. And this picture is Caleb being fancy in the afternoon before the party...

 

 Every half hour they got to pop a balloon that told us what the next activity would be starting with dinner. The other activities were making party hats, writing down New Year's Resolutions, playing Don't Eat Pete, Bingo and a balloon drop at midnight (aka 8pm:)

It was so much fun and am so glad we had friends to party with us!

Christmas 2015

Christmas was great this year. Steve was home the 23-27 and it was heaven. We stayed home the whole weekend and enjoyed being together. On Christmas Eve we have appetizers for dinner and watch a movie. We also watch the Nativity and then its off to bed! This picture was right before bed setting out Santa's treats:)

We all were spoiled rotten and had a great day together!

A QOTD that I don't want to forget was one morning before Christmas Makenna and Chase were talking about gifts and Makenna said to Chase: "Chase if you aren't grateful for your presents your heart will turn to dust!" He totally believed her.
