2!!

My baby is 2!!! Where have these 2 years gone? Our Caleb is such a funny, silly boy! He has definitely entered the terrible two stage and wants things done his way or their is a huge meltdown otherwise. For example: He wants to take off his pants by himself and if I even touch his pants a little to help him out he screams and pulls them back up and starts all over. The other day we were walking home from the neighbors (2 houses down) and he walked the whole way backwards! If I even touched him a little on the back if we were coming to a bump so he wouldn't fall he would run back to the neighbors and start all over, backwards! He defiantly is testing my patience!! But he is learning things so fast its so fun too, to watch the wheels in his head spin. He has been saying a lot more words too. I feel like every day he says something I've never heard him say before.
He's also been a terrible eater and mainly lives off yogurt, cheese, milk and candy! He does though like corn, tacos and burritos. He currently loves watching Despicable Me or 101 Dalmatians.
I took him to his well-check today and he's holding strong at being in the 15 percentile overall. He screamed through his whole appointment and he didn't even get shots!

Yesterday was his birthday and so I took these pictures of him before we headed to church. He has such a silly personality and has the funniest facial expressions!
I kept telling him to smile and he didn't want to so I would say, "Show me your teeth" and he would show me his tongue instead!:)

In the evening Grandma J, Grandma/Grandpa P and Andrea came over for dinner, presents and cake/ice cream. Caleb wasn't so sure what he was suppose to do with the presents so Makenna and Chase pitched in at first, but after the first one he had it figured out and didn't want any help from siblings after!

He was pretty excited about each of his presents and has loved playing with them!

He was excited for cake until we lit the candles and started singing, then he had the funniest face and wasn't so sure about the whole thing.
Makenna and Chase blew out the candles, he wasn't having it!

He is such a silly, fun boy and we sure love having him in our family! Love you Caleb!!

Sillies

The other day both boys were wearing their spiderman shirts and they thought it was the coolest thing that they wanted their picture together!
After the spiderman picture Caleb dressed up like Woody and I just couldn't resist another picture:)
It was beautiful weather last week and we made it to the park.

This one I had to snatch of Caleb. He looks so sweet.

Baby Animal Days

We were able to go to baby animal days last weekend with Misha and Kira. It was beautiful weather and the kids loved all of the anilmals, train rides, pony rides and this year we went on a wagon ride to see the bison!
This was the only picture with Caleb in it. He didn't want to touch any of the animals but had fun riding the train!

Makenna's favorite animal this year was the sheep, it was pretty soft!
Chase was super outgoing and loved touching all the animals but still his favorite was riding the train!

Love this pic!

Easter 2016

Easter activities started on Saturday with an egg hunt get together with friends. Misha, Aja and Leeanne came to our house in the afternoon and it was so much fun! 12 kids running around and us adults playing solitaire frenzy. We did have an egg hunt and I feel bad I didn't get one picture of Makenna looking for eggs (she is getting too fast!) Caleb thought it was the funnest thing to look for the eggs and find candy inside.

Cute Emma and Sophie. Emma was so proud of her jellybeans that were inside her egg that I just had to take a picture.

Love these ladies and am so glad they came!
Sunday before church all dressed up in their new clothes.
That evening Mark and Steff came for dinner and another egg hunt. The kids were using plastic bags since their baskets are packed away in a box somewhere. Makenna of course had to have something fancier and grabbed one of her bags instead. I love this picture!
These are my most favorite peeps and I am so glad to be their mom! So grateful for this holiday to remember more the Savior and his life, sacrifice for us and that we can live again because of Him!

Cute Kiddos

I have a whole bunch of pictures of the kids lately that make me smile.
Chase has made some of the cutest things lately at preschool. On St. Patrick's Day he came home with this cute hat. He was so excited for this day. They got to bring a green lunch and eat at school, the leprechaun came and left a big mess (at school and at home) they even found little leprechaun footprints on their papers at school!
The Easter Bunny also came to school and left them some treats!
One Sunday evening we went for a walk and stopped at the park, the kids loved it! We are wishing it was warmer now. We currently are on spring break and it feels more like Christmas break since its been raining and snowing the whole time! Makenna was singing Christmas songs yesterday.
I know I've said before but we love our neighbors. Lately Caleb and Evie have been super lovey. They have been giving each other big hugs and have even puckered up a time or two!
It was my mom's birthday on Friday so we met halfway for dinner to celebrate!
On Saturday I took the boys to get haircuts. This was the first time that Caleb sat up on the booster seat and not on my lap! He did awesome. He chatted about the monsters on his cape and the hair that was on it. He even held pretty still. He was such a big boy!

New hair-do's!
Yesterday the Runhaars came for a visit and Bailey dressed Makenna up like this. I'm not sure what she is suppose to be but they sure were being silly!
