2. Only 1 more bill left to be paid off from having Makenna

5. My brother coming home in 2 months from his mission

7. Watching Makenna grow
8. For sunday school to be over for this week because then I'll have 3 weeks of not having to worry about preparing a lesson

It's Official!

After many months of waiting, my brother is finally engaged! I can't believe my little brother is going to get married. He popped the question last night and Steffanie said yes. They will most likely be getting married the first weekend in August and it will be so fun to have Steffanie officially part of our family:)

I'm pretty sure Makenna thinks her fingers taste like chocolate, they're always in her mouth!

Nothing too exciting

Nothing really too exciting has been happening around here so I thought I would just share some random thoughts and cute pictures of Makenna

• I can't wait for it to be warmer outside- honestly I wonder sometimes why I don't move somewhere where winter is a little bit shorter
• Yesterday was the first day in 3 months that I did not get spit up on me!, however today I haven't been so lucky and it's only 10 am
• Makenna turned 3 months over the weekend. I can't believe how fast they grow!

• Now that Valentines is over we don't have to worry about soft sugar cookies but now there are cadburry eggs and jellybeans! How is one ever to lose weight with such yummy treats around?
• Makenna can almost roll over- if it wasn't for those arms I think she would have it.

While the man's away- we girls did play

Last week Steve went to Texas for work. It was the first time he's been gone since we had Makenna and I'm glad Steve doesn't leave for work often. I don't know how single moms or moms who's husbands are away a lot do it. I missed not having my little breaks in the evening when Steve is home to help with Makenna. After 3 days we both needed a break from each other and was glad dad was coming home soon. But we did have some fun while he was away.

• Watched the Secret Life of Bees- I loved the book and I thought the movie wasn't too bad. Wouldn't you just love to live in the same house as Queen Latifah? I wanted to watch the Dutchess but didn't get to. Has anyone seen it- is it worth my time?
• Had my sister over for pizza- good times
• Had way too many sugar cookies. I have a weakness for soft, homemade sugar cookies and Cindy came over and we made some.

The weekend before was my good friend Sarah's wedding. Us girls headed down for the big event and had such a good time. While Sarah was the most beautiful one their- Makenna was the cutest. Thanks Cindy for going with me!

Super Bowl

Steve's family always gets together for the super bowl and is always so fun. I couldn't believe Makenna, it was her big chance to show off her cute smile and she slept the whole time!
