Happy Birthday Caleb

Caleb turned 7!! He had a big 'ol birthday party since he couldn't have one last year. It was a ninja warrior party. The boys made/decorated a ninja shield and we set up an obstacle course throughtout the house (it was supposed to be at the park but our luck the weather was bad!) It worked out having it in the house with different challenges throughout. Pizza and cake to top it all off. We sure love our Caleb. He is so smart, kind, energetic and loves wrestling Chase!

Spring Sports

Spring Sports is always so fun, cold and exhausting. Makenna did volleyball this year. Because of Covid they only played against eachother rather than other schools and parents were only able to come to the last game to watch which was kindof a bummer. Not sure if Makenna liked it but we're proud of her for trying! Caleb was able to do Coach's Pitch baseball and was on the White Sox team and he loved it. I think he hit the ball every time he was up to bat and he got to play all the positions. He was so fun to watch. This was Chase's first year of the kids pitching and getting to ba little more serious. His team was the Dodgers. They only lost one game in the regular season and so were able to play for the championship for their league and they won! It was extra fun because his team was playing against his friend Graycen's team.

Arts on Fire

Went one afternoon to Arts on FIre with the Hanni's and Christensens. This fun little store you get to pick a ceramic piece, paint it and then they fire the piece. I should've gotten a picture of their final product, but forgot. This is one of Makenna's favorite places.

Easter

Easter fell on COnference weekend this year so between sessions on Saturday a group of us got together to have an Easter Egg Hunt. It was such a beautiful afternoon and so fun to be with friends in between sessions. We also of course had to dye Easter Eggs that SUnday afternoon while listening to conference.

Leprechauns and Visitors

The boys had an elaborate plan of trying to catch a leprechaun this year with traps all throughout the living room. Sadly they were unsuccessful again in catching a sneaky leprechaun.

Misha, Kira and Robin came the next weekend for a visit as well and we spent the afternoon at Jumptime, always a favorite. It was s super quick visit playing games at home as well.

Grandparents Visit

Grandma, Grandpa and Andrea came for a visit over a long weekend. We went to Super chix, did some crafts and just hung out. Glad they could come for a visit!

Back to Primary

We were able to start going back for second hour of church in March. We were so excited that we put balloons on all the chairs in Primary for the kids to take home with them. Church felt so exciting that day and I'm so grateful that we are able to be back with our ward family for all of church!
