Stake Presidents Day

For Presidents Day (or Stake Presidents Day is what Makenna was calling it) my mom and Andrea came up to spend the day and we went to the park to play and have lunch. Who would have thought we could be able to go to the park in February! It was a bit chilly when the sun would go behind a cloud but other than that it was great.

I'm glad we could go out and play!

Valentines Day

We had a fun Valentines this year. The kids got a new book and love notes from Steve and I. The kids and I dipped strawberries. It was mostly fun although I think Makenna and Chase argued a fair amount of time over who would get to lick the spoon when we were done!

We had a candlelight dinner filled with heart shaped pizza and strawberries, of course.

Their has to be at least one melt down while we are trying to do something fun:)

I love my Valentines!

Quotes and Bath

Makenna and Chase have said a couple of funny things this week that I wanted  to document.
Quote #1  Chase and I were sitting peacefully at the table doing play dough when he says...
"Mom who tooted?"
Me: I don't know, you?
Chase: No it was the Holy Ghost. :)

Quote #2
Makenna came into my room asking me if we were going to go on any trips this year and I told her we weren't sure but we've talked about it. I then asked her where she wanted to go and she says, " How about Paris, France?!"  Sadly I had to tell her that we definitely would not be going there.

Quote #3
So I have been losing weight (9 lbs already!!) and I tend to make a big deal about it after I have weighed myself at the gym. So one morning I was getting ready to go to the gym when Makenna says, "Mom you should weigh yourself this morning to see if you're any younger." :)

These two pictures of Chase were him eating his nutella sandwich. I'm not sure what happened but he had it all over him. His face and up and down his arms!

Caleb loves the bath but only when he can be by himself. He does not like it when the other two are around, they are too noisy and it is too much for him. He had a few peaceful moments tonight to I hurried and took these pictures of him while he was happy. He just holds onto the duck and splashes all over:)
If you look close you can see his little bottom tooth. They both finally popped through this week and he has been much happier!
