St. Patrick's Day

Holidays are so much more fun with kids! Last night the kids got the Leprachuan trap all set up with Steve. They made a rainbow out of the blocks and had 2 traps, since we're not sure if he is big or little. He was enticed by our gold coins and the kids thought for sure we would catch him this year!

But this morning they woke up to traps tipped over and the gold taken! Along with couch cushions, chairs and stools knocked over throughout the house. He turned our milk green, left us some candy and Lucky Charms for breakfast. The most memorable thing he did this year was pee green in our toilet and forgot to flush! Makenna was completly disgusted by the green water and after both of them looked into the toilet bowl for a few minutes saying how gross it was she very quickly flushed the toilet and ran out screaming EWW! Chase said that he liked Santa better because he flushes the potty:) It was hilarious!

Van Owners

One of the things on the To Do list before baby comes (only 6 more weeks!) is to get a bigger car. So after a few nights spent looking at vans on the internet and driving around we made our purchase yesterday. We are now van owners and the kids think it is the most amazing thing ever. It is completely magical that all they have to do is push a button and the doors shut and Makenna just thinks she is all grown up since she gets to ride in the very back! Makenna took her friend on a little tour of the van yesterday.
I didn't want to forget this and how cool they think it is. This morning they ran out and looked in the garage to make sure it was still there. Then they yelled "See you van when it's time to go to school!"
At least we won't have any problems getting in the car to go somewhere for a while, we see how long it lasts:)

Trains!

Over the weekend we took the kids to a train festival. We didn't know what to expect but we were wanting to do something since we haven't been up to a whole lot lately. Their were model trains to look at which the kids thought were cool for about ten seconds except for the Thomas the Tank train, Chase loved watching that one. They did like riding the little train out front and playing in a train car.

My little railroad conductors!

QOTD

I didn't want to forget this cute saying:
A few weeks ago we were walking into church and it was hailing and Chase says, "Mom, is this popcorn?"
